How do the retainer hours work in practice?

At the start of each month we agree the scope - which tasks, which service areas, what the priorities are. Hours are then allocated and work begins. If your priorities change mid-month, we adjust. If you need more hours than your plan includes, you can top up at the same hourly rate at any time. There's no lock-in - plans continue month to month until you decide otherwise.

Can I combine Shopify services with an SEO or GEO retainer?

Yes, and for most stores this is the most efficient model. When the same team handles your Shopify services and your SEO or GEO programme, technical fixes are made with growth signals in mind from the start. SEO and GEO Growth Sprint hours are separate from Shopify services retainer hours - but both are managed by the same team with full context across your store.

Do unused hours roll over?

Unused capacity rolls over automatically into the next month's optimisation backlog so your store keeps improving continuously rather than losing the value of a lighter month. If you need more capacity than your plan includes in each month, additional hours are available at the same rate. No approval process, no new contract.

What if I just need a one-off project?

Some work is genuinely project-based - a migration, a custom feature build, a full technical audit. For these we scope and quote separately rather than forcing them into a retainer model.
